πŸ•‹ A Journey of Faith: Our Interactive Hajj Activity Day! ✨

On May 18, 2026, Royat Al-Ebtikar International School embarked on a truly special spiritual journey right here at school! πŸ•Œ We transformed our classrooms and Multipurpose Room into an interactive Hajj learning experience, helping our students understand the sacred journey and its rituals in an engaging and memorable way. 🌟

πŸ“š First Stop: Classroom Learning

Our journey began with a wonderful classroom session led by Ms. Manal πŸ§‘‍🏫. She introduced our students to the basic concepts and significance of Hajj, laying the perfect foundation for what was to come.

The children listened with curiosity and enthusiasm as they discovered more about this important pillar of Islam and the meaning behind the Hajj journey. πŸ’‘

πŸŽ₯ Bringing the Hajj Journey to Life

Next, we moved to the Multipurpose Room, where the experience became even more immersive! ✨

We set up three large projectors, each displaying one of the key stages and landmarks associated with Hajj:

  • πŸ•‹ The Kaaba – the sacred heart of Masjid al-Haram
  • ⛰️ Arafat – one of the most important stages of Hajj
  • πŸͺ¨ Jamarat – where pilgrims perform the symbolic stoning ritual

Ms. Nahla πŸ§‘‍🏫 took centre stage and explained each part of the journey in a simple, clear, and age-appropriate way that kept even our youngest students engaged. Through her explanations, the different stages of Hajj came to life for the children. πŸ“–βœ¨

πŸ€– The Grand Finale: Robot Pilgrims!

Then came the part everyone had been waiting for... the robot activity! πŸŽ‰

Under the guidance of Ms. Taghreed πŸ§‘‍🏫, our students watched in excitement as a robot wearing Ihram garments πŸ€– recreated the Hajj journey on a specially designed map.

The robot moved from one station to another, demonstrating the different stages of Hajj while students followed along and interacted with the activity.

They asked questions, identified the different locations, and eagerly followed each step of the journey. It was a wonderful example of interactive learning and educational technology coming together to make Islamic Studies even more engaging. πŸš€β€οΈ

⏰ An Experience for Every Grade

The activity was organised separately for each grade level, with every class receiving approximately 10 minutes in the Multipurpose Room.

This gave every student the opportunity to take part in the experience, observe the demonstrations, and engage with the activity in a comfortable and organised setting. The sessions flowed smoothly and created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day. πŸ•°οΈβœ¨

πŸ’ Why We Did This

Our goal was simple but meaningful: to give our students a clear, interactive, and enjoyable understanding of the Hajj rituals.

We wanted them not only to learn about the different stages of Hajj, but also to appreciate the beauty, meaning, and significance of this sacred journey. πŸŒ™βœ¨

The smiles, thoughtful questions, and many “wow” moments showed us just how meaningful the experience had been. πŸ™Œ
