🎯 A Warm Welcome to the New School Year

The event aimed to create a positive first-day experience and strengthen students’ sense of belonging within the school community.

It also provided a supportive space where students could express how they felt about returning to school, while encouraging participation, cooperation and positive connections with their classmates.

Through these activities, Roya hoped to create happy memories of the beginning of a new academic year. 🌟📸

🎪 First Day of School Activities

Students were warmly welcomed as they arrived and guided through the different activity stations according to a planned schedule. This allowed groups to move comfortably between activities and enjoy each part of the programme.

At the photo station, students had the opportunity to capture a special first-day memory. 📸✨

The gift station added another cheerful touch to the welcome, helping make the beginning of the school year feel even more special. 🎁🎉

At the feelings station, students were encouraged to share how they felt about starting a new school year. 😊💬

Returning to school can bring many different emotions for children, from excitement and curiosity to nervousness or uncertainty. Parents can experience some of these emotions too as their children begin a new stage in their school journey.

🌟 Wishes for the Year Ahead

At the wishes station, students wrote down their hopes and goals for the new academic year and placed them inside a special wishes box. 📝📦

The school plans to revisit these wishes later in the year, giving students an opportunity to reflect on their progress, achievements and aspirations.

This simple activity encouraged students to think about what they hope to learn, experience and accomplish throughout the year. 🎯✨

🎩 A Little First-Day Magic

Another highlight of the programme was an interactive magician’s performance. 🎩🪄

Students enthusiastically joined in with the show and enjoyed a shared moment of fun, laughter and surprise with their classmates.

The performance added an extra sense of celebration to the day and helped make the return to school feel memorable and exciting.

🙌 Participation and a Positive Start

The variety of stations gave students different ways to take part in the event — whether by sharing a feeling, writing a wish, taking a first-day photo or enjoying the performance with their peers.

Students participated actively throughout the programme, helping create a happy and reassuring atmosphere for the start of the school year. 😊💚

The event also encouraged cooperation among the teaching and administrative teams who organised the welcome, supported the activities and guided students throughout the day.

Photos and approved media were collected to document the occasion, while the wishes box created an opportunity to reconnect with students’ goals later in the academic year. 📸📦

🔭 Looking Ahead to Future Back to School Events

Roya plans to continue welcoming students with a Back to School programme each year, with activities adapted to suit different age groups.

The wishes box can also provide teachers with a meaningful way to revisit students’ interests and ambitions as the year progresses.

Future events may offer even more opportunities for families to participate and share in the excitement of beginning a new school year. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨
