🎉 Celebrating Our Teachers — The Heart of Our School

At Royat Al-Ebtikar International School, we proudly celebrated Teachers’ Day, honouring the dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment of our wonderful teachers and support staff. 🍎✨

Teachers are at the heart of every thriving school community, inspiring curiosity, building confidence, and helping shape the generations of tomorrow. Our celebration was a meaningful reflection of the values we hold dear at Roya: gratitude, respect, collaboration, and a shared passion for creative education. 🌟📚

The celebration began with a sincere and heartfelt address from our School Director, Ms Enass, who expressed her deep appreciation for the important role our teachers play in shaping young minds and supporting the continued success of our school. She highlighted the remarkable dedication teachers demonstrate every day — a commitment that often extends far beyond classroom hours as they plan, guide, encourage, and care for their students. ❤️

Our Academic Director, Mr Sonny, followed with a wonderful blend of humour and sincerity. 😂 He began by joking about the three famous “benefits” of being a teacher: June, July, and August, bringing plenty of laughter to the room. He then shared a touching metaphor that beautifully captured the spirit of teaching: “There is no finer analogy for a teacher than a candle: it consumes itself to light the path for others.” 🕯️❤️

It was a meaningful reminder of the generosity, patience, and dedication that educators bring to their profession every day.

One by one, our teachers were invited forward to receive personalised Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their dedication and contributions to our school community. 🏅💐

Each recipient also received a special giveaway featuring a custom-printed cartoon illustration of themselves. 🧑‍🏫🎨 The playful and thoughtful gifts brought plenty of laughter and smiles, creating memorable moments that perfectly reflected the warm and friendly atmosphere of the celebration. 😄

The programme concluded with a celebratory shared lunch, giving our staff an opportunity to relax, socialise, and spend time together beyond their daily responsibilities. 🍽️🤝

These moments of connection strengthened the sense of teamwork, friendship, and mutual respect that helps make the Roya school community such a welcoming and supportive environment.
