⚽️ A Morning of Football, Friendship, and Fantastic Fun! 🏆

In November, our football team from Royat Al-Ebtikar International School headed out for an exciting friendly match against Dar Al Fikr Schools — a morning filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, and memorable moments both on and off the pitch. ⚽️🤝

🚌 Off We Go!

Bright and early at 8:30 a.m. on November 4, our team set off for the match full of excitement and anticipation. Our squad included 16 enthusiastic players, along with substitutes and a lively group of supporters ready to cheer them on. 🎉

Accompanying the students were our wonderful P.E. teacher, Ms. Amal Elshazly, together with Ms. Nahed Taleb and Ms. Nermeen, who supported the students and helped ensure everything ran smoothly throughout the morning.

The excitement on the journey was contagious as everyone looked forward to the match ahead! 😄

⏰ Kick-Off Time!

By 9:15 a.m., the whistle blew and the match was underway! ⚡️

Our students gave their very best, demonstrating determination and enthusiasm as they sprinted, passed, defended, and worked together as a team. Their effort and commitment were clear throughout the match. 🌟

Although Dar Al Fikr Schools ultimately secured the win, the result was only one part of the experience. What truly stood out was the spirit in which the match was played.

Both teams demonstrated sportsmanship, mutual respect, teamwork, and fair play, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere for everyone involved. 🤝

🧠 More Than Just a Game

At Roya, we remind our students that sport is about much more than winning or losing. It provides valuable opportunities to develop important skills and qualities that extend far beyond the football pitch.

Through experiences like this, students learn:

  • 🤝 Teamwork – working together toward a shared goal
  • 💪 Self-confidence – believing in their abilities and having the courage to participate
  • 👏 Respect for others – appreciating teammates, opponents, and officials
  • 📈 Learning from mistakes – reflecting, improving, and returning stronger next time

We were especially proud of the positive attitude our players demonstrated throughout the day, both on and off the pitch. ✨

🕚 Homeward Bound

By 11:00 a.m., it was time to head back to school.

The team returned tired but smiling, with plenty to talk about — great saves, close chances, clever passes, and memorable moments from the match. 😊⚽️

Most importantly, our students returned with new experiences, valuable lessons, and memories they could share together.

💬 Final Thoughts

We’d love to hear your thoughts! How did your child feel about Space Week? Did they find the experience out of this world? 🚀🌟Friendly matches such as this give students valuable real-world sporting experience, broaden their horizons, and help them develop into well-rounded individuals.

They also teach students how to approach every result — whether a win, loss, or draw — with resilience, respect, humility, and a positive spirit. 🌟

At Royat Al-Ebtikar International School, we believe that sport teaches before it competes. Through every match, our students have another opportunity to learn, grow, cooperate, and challenge themselves.

Until the next match — keep learning, keep playing, and keep aiming high! 👟⚽️💫
